Spring is Here...okay I'm just wishing

I set out chunk's birthday gift that he got from his uncle Craig today. Talking about Hours of fun! The boy loves sand and dirt and water. I was thinking during his bath when he was fighting me to get out that I need to set this up today. Everyone is feeling alot better today.... although every stomach twinge has me freaking out... We are enjoying Daddy being home with us this week. He's had a few stressful weeks and needed a recharge. We both took naps today after lunch so I think he is having a good vacation.

coming back from the sick house

It has been an aweful few days around here. Chunk started throwing up on Thursday of Last week....Friday he was acting fine and eating okay, diahrea was gone. DH and I went to the city to celebrate our Anniversary. We spent way too much money but it was so much fun to get away. Went and picked up chunk at Sister in laws and agreed to keep our neice. She's a great little baby sitter and chunk would have alot of fun with her. Drove up to the hospital to see my dad. DH got sick as we reached the hospital. Thought it was just from eating too much bad food the night before. He ended up throwing up alot. So I had to drive him home the whole time he's blowing as he breathes cause his belly hurts so bad. So we drop him off at home, eat dinner and shop for groceries. Come home watch Nemo and then put everyone to bed only to wake up at 2:00 am with neice being sick alot and very loudly. So we had some accidents as well. There were some terrible smells in this house this weekend. Chunk woke up sunday throwing up a few times, and a steady run of well runs. I'm not sure if I dodged it but I'm sitting in my breazy house with all the windows open, lysoled air, clean sheets in the guest room...gonna vacume and dust tomorrow...but the first order is all the sick laundry I have to do. I felt so sick yesterday and I think it was just being pregnant with the terrible smells etc.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I woke up this morning to a handmade (on the computer message from my sweetie and of course some chocolate. Did I mention that I'm really trying to keep my weight gain down lol. Tomorrow is our 4th anniversary and I can't believe we've been married that long. Then my second sweetie gave me omelet kisses at breakfast which I will always take. We had to make an emergency trip to see daddy. He ripped his pants while working on the server at work. It was really nice to see him during the day. I really need to stay out of the office which means less time on the computer. In the morning chunk picked up my guitar and it made a terrible sound. Apparently one of the things he's been doing is putting chess pieces in the sound hole....(Great). We did go to the mall yesterday where I walked and bought some maternity essentials. DH will not think it is essential. I really thought I wouldn't need clothes except for summer. With the winter we are having and the size of my belly so far i need more. I bought a thing called a bella band I loved it...I wore it out of the store cause i was wearing my regular jeans but they were pinching just alittle. I think I can wear some of my regular shorts this summer. And I got a tank top, a long sleeve dressy shirt that was on sale and as always some undies. Im getting super stoked about our night away from the kid. We are staying in Bricktown and having dinner and a show who knows we might go to a bar or dancing at the restaurant. We might go to Bass Pro Shops who knows. Update on my dad--- he passed his swallow study this morning which means he gets liquid and strained foods (woo hoo!) Yay daddy! He also got some more spinal fluid drained and the dr said just a few more days with his pressure dressing and he can have it off. This will help with alot...like sleeping on his side etc. On another note his blood pressure was so low the other night he had to be taken off is bp medicine and not have therapy cause he was too weak. Crazy I know...my dad with bp too low. Wow.

sick of hospitals and I'm not there as much!

We've just come home from seeing my dad in the hospital. He's passed the 1 month mark but he's had 2 major surgeries and just had a procedure to drain spinal fluid. So now add headache to the list of problems..but it's good cause it might decrease the swelling and let that incision heal. Lots of driving for my mom and lots of lonely time at the house. She goes to work at 8, leaves at 3 to see my dad, where she bathes shaves and gets him ready for bed, comes home about 10 pm puts laundry of dads in the washer/dryer and then sleeps. And then the whole day starts again. My dad is working his butt off in rehab about 8 hrs a day. I'm so proud of both of them and he's trying so hard. He is able to use a walker and get into a wheelchair even though it wears him out to sit. He was able to give chunk a ride for a moment which was neat. Prayers are still needed for us to get him the heck out of dodge. Mom and Dad are so cute cause she still leans over and kisses him and he kisses back. She was telling him he has to practice that alot. It's really a love fest when you go visit him. I really can't believe I ever fought with them when I was younger. I used to love the the thought of moving away and being free of them (when i was 16-17). Can you imagine. Now it breaks my heart to drive 95 miles back to my house. Chunk was crazy this weekend. We are both so tired from him. He really showed his two year ability and ran us down. I was ready to drop him off for a week somewhere. But today has been alittle better.

Morning Sickness + Dirty Diaper + Husband who won't change diapers and has a sort of cruel streak? =

This......Hubby took a picture of me changing a diaper and gagging all at the same time. I ask you is this fair? Oh well I get to be with this all day.... Here chunk is looking just like daddy hand in the popcorn watching a movie with us this weekend. Hmm..could be a reason his diapers stink so bad....Note to self ..say no to chunks request for "popporn."
