standing sleeper

Yes you guessed it chunk fell asleep ...standing up today. It was insane one minute he is running around the next he is strangely quiet. I take a peek and sure enough..... also some great news on the Dad front. He is being discharged from the hospital today! Yeah Dad! I'll be out of town for a few days next week to help my mom.

Well our shopping chores have been cut down with the news that we are having another boy. We are really happy and can't wait to meet him. I guess this means we "might" have more baby talks in the future. Or I can adopt a 17 yr old girl (yeah that's the park i'm not envious of my friend for). I had it built up in my mind that it's a girl and then I was shocked that it's a boy. I think the first one really did a number on me and anything else would be a piece of cake. Of course I don't remember this time period with chunk. I had an injury that kind of overshadowed any symptoms I had with chunk so perhaps the pregnancy wasn't as bad but the other stuff made it traumatic to me. I'm slowly getting used to the idea. No shopping for extra clothes means I can get the stroller I want. I do want another bedding set simply because chunk ruined the bumper. So it saves on paint as well. Soon we will be painting the boy's rooms khaki. I was going to go with a sage green if it was a girl and I'm happy it's a boy because of that lol. Of course I will go slowly and perhaps see what the last ultrasound says. We might go with a sage green just in case. DH had a good point...we don't have to pay for weddings woo hoo! I don't have to worry about the guys they are with...just the girls...which these days is just as bad. But the main reason it's great is that Logan will always have a friend.

I love Spring....

This has been the view of my week. I walked every day this week cause it was so nice! But every time I went chunk would fall asleep. This is the only nap he gets this measly 20-30 minutes of the last part of the walk. Trying to move him to a bed is just not working. He wakes up wanting the very thing he fell asleep whining about. Usually the "can-can" that I didn't pack alot of.

Happy Birthday Grandpa and more

We had a good party for my dad this weekend. One of the nurses/or the lady that sits at the desk and answers the information line asked me "how does he know that many people? " She just couldn't understand it. I explained it was his parents and siblings and his wife's family and and people from church and friends. It was kinda funny. I almost said "go talk to him for a while and you'll know!" Dad and chunk loved eating the ice cream cake together. Dad made a speech but I didn't push the button right to record it. He always has us all crying when he makes speeches. A private moment caught between my mom and dad. They are always cuddling with each other. It's really cute. And Sunday we had a picnic at Dh's sisters new house. It was so nice to have room to move, no cats, not smokiness in the house. chunk had a blast also playing with all his cousins. He posed in this picture with Memaw. Other things happening are just going out and enjoying the weather every moment. Fighting about going to the potty/taking a bath. DH told chunk "no I don't think so" and chunk took it and ran with it. It's so funny cause he wags his finger to say it.
