and pooter is aka red, aka stringbean is almost 6 months old...it's going by way too fast. I am starting to focus on myself getting some weight lost, walking on the treadmill. I really need it. Here are some pictures of our life lately. I don't spend much time on the computer and chunk is sorta addicted so i have been saying that it's broken lately...i worry about his attention span sometimes. Please pray that we can conquer the potty..I bought vinyl pants yesterday and some more underwear. We are starting to wear them next week. The first picture is our house after the ice storm, Christmas pictures and on of chunk on his birthday where he wasn't fake smiling.
It's really hard to get a baby and a 2 yr old to pose at the same time...Some of the best pictures of Eli, Logan is acting silly and Logan poses, eli looks off or starts to cry. Grr... oh well here are some from today. plus I took a picture of Eli's last cast...you can see the surgery blood, yuck..i don't know where my white out is or i would white out the blood and the poop stains.
We took the boys to the zoo on Saturday and I think the whole city did too man it was crowded. We didn't last very long cause we didn't get there early enough. Sure enough "sleepy Logan monster" showed up. It looked like we were kidnapping him out of the zoo. He wanted to ride the handicapped bench on the carousel. After the ride was over he remembered the whole idea of riding the animals that moved up and down only we ran out of tokens. I got some good pictures though and thought I would share..by the way Eli is laughing and talking at us more and more which really makes the sleep deprivation so worth it.
I have the cold that Logan had last week only when I get it it settles in my chest. ugh.
Life has been flying by over here. Eli is 2 months old now and Logan is creeping up on 3. We had a traumatic weekend last weekend. Eli got his first cast to correct his foot. It's pretty cute but it's definitely not fun. He can't kick or straighten his leg like he wants and gets really mad about it. He cried all day Friday. I think some of it might be the actual pain of the foot. I'll need to ask about tylenol or something for the little guy.
Logan is hilarious as usual and sweet and stubborn as any toddler is. I'm ready for three already. Working on potty training is really hard with this baby, not to mention a stubborn toddler who enjoys having me change his diaper and laughs diabolically every time I shudder at the grossness of two year old poop. Having a breastfed infant sure makes the two year old poop really gross. --enough poop talk...
We are gearing up for Halloween over here. Logan has his spiderman outfit already and has worn it every day so far. I think he's dreaming about it cause he told me he dreamed Spiderman came into his room and messed up his room and stole his toys- he tends to make up stories like telling me he flushed my debit card down the toilet ......
my oldest son has such a personality...he is just like his uncle craig. He makes all the introductions for his daddy and I and entertains constantly. Today at my family reunion he saw the stage and microphone, stood behind it adjusted the microphone put his hands on his hips and said "hello everybody, my name is Logan." too funny. Our appt for Elis foot was postponed..im ready for it to start so we can get it started to being better.
i don't have much time to blog these days...hopefully those that read this blog can fill in blanks well enough...there really isn't alot going on im in that....routine..it's wonderful but im bored...but too busy for anything but the routine. Eli is alittle colicky but hopefully it's just his jaundice and getting rid of bilirubin..and gas...ugh..he's great when he's not trying to poo.
