I did move on , but now im back

I went to Vox for awhile but you had to be a member to comment and the blog wasn't very friendly to trying to get read/noticed.  you can still go there and read about the last few years of my life.

Who is this kid?

Sometimes I look at Pooter and he looks like me alittle bit. The next time i look he looks like his dad. His looks are very different from chunk. Then someone says "wow he looks just like chunk." Here's a picture of Chunks black eyes. He is all better now but man it looked bad.

He Walks!!

Pooter is walking now...not all the time but he gets a good 8 feet at the most. It's pretty hilarious and he's sorta doing it in a weird way..he'll end up going sideways sometimes. It's more or less a situation where he is getting in as many steps in till he falls down...he flat boogies!! It's really such a testament to how blessed we are and how great he's doing with the clubfoot treatment. Who would have thought he would be walking by 10 1/2 months old? Wow. Chunk..poor chunk. He was knocked down by all the running kids at Mcdonalds and now has a shiner. It is looking worse everyday, cause it's healing and getting that yellow purple thing. Swim lessons went well this week, as opposed to last week where he screamed "Mamma, Daddy!" for 30 minutes and snubbed his lips. This week he swam with the paddle board, went under water and jumped off the diving board. What a difference a week makes. Pooter is having aweful diapers and whining all the time...im sure I'll see a tooth soon. He's eating everything in sight. It's kind of nice to just feed him what I cook. I've been making alot of homeade alfredo and pasta for him (ok i eat it too) and he eats a hamburger when we go to McDonalds...it's funny...I cut it up into tiny cubes and he loves it. Everyone else has to have chicken nuggets no exceptions lol. I forgot how easy to feed a kid excited to try new things, instead of pleading for just 3 bites! Yesterday I made Sweet N Sour Meatballs and rice and Pooter ate all of it, peppers, pinapple, rice, and meatballs.

Chunk's first swim lesson

Chunk had his first swim lesson Saturday. It's basically private swim lessons with Miss Katie, since no other kids his age have that time. It's nice cause he will get one on one attention. If there were more in the class they would have to wait on the mat. Daddy is in the observation deck so some of the pictures are really glarry/dark, plus ignore the audio if possible. He was so excited and proud of himself. Tonight he said he wanted pool...but he still loves playing pool with Daddy. I am still sick..i had to get a steroid shot. I'm still coughing up stuff..fun stuff. Saturday night we went to the Drive Inn. It was a double showing of Kung Fu panda and Indiana Jones. The first was great, Indy was dark and you can't see dark at a drive in.

teeth!

Its funny how teeth change a face forever. Pooter's came in and he looks so cute and funny in a way. Kinda like spongebob. Chunk is gettin older and becoming a handsome young boy as opposed to a cute baby. He is hilarious and starting to grow up, learning how to act. Pooter is weeks from walking. He lets go of tables and everything and takes a step or two and falls. He also can pull up on anything even a toy on the ground. They are growing up way too fast. We are super busy this summer. Chunk starts Swim lessons with Daddy this weekend for 2 months. I am watching a friend's little girl 4 days a week for two months followed by a 9 yr old boy for one month...so logan will have a friend to play with all summer.

Pooter aka speedy's update

Now my update on Pooter (he's not such a pooter anymore so I may revise). He is cruising and only 8 months old. He's super busy and never sleeps it seems. I might be able to get him to take two naps a day (staying asleep is another story). Gone are the days with Chunk when I could nap when he napped or take it with him.....sigh one day I'll sleep. He is cutting teeth like a madman. So much so that it seems like his personality is crabby when really he's in pain all the time. Last night was the first night in a few weeks that I didn't have to get up with him all night. I gave him a cocktail before bed. NO not a gin and tonic but gripe water, mylecon, tylenol, teething tabs and oragel. He's still alive so I guess it was okay lol. Hes a talker too and when you say "say mamma or dadda he said "hi dadda" or something similar. I swear he can say I love you too..but maybe it's wishful thinking. He got mad at chunk for the first time yesterday and it was hilarious. He has alittle temper. He was at the end of the coffee table and I think chunk had bothered him one too many times. Chunk is like a pest always in his face picking at him constantly. Pooter was screaming and I thought he was hurt but then He started kind of jumping and hitting chunk's arm. I have a feeling they are gonna be evenly matched, your prayers are appreciated!

chunk update

Well we have had a busy start to spring. He's driving me crazy at times and then being so sweet and smart. I guess that's being 3. Chunk & Pooter love each other alot but Chunk doesn't know how to give someone space. We went to DH's familie's for 89ers day (it's a big deal apparently). He loves singing on the microphone. He was a hog and sang ABCs. Chunk after running through the sprinkler after Daddy seeded the front yard. He fell and then it got really fun.

ahh spring!!!

We have been super busy with life lately. Two very active boys are so exhausting. Pooter is crawling, and pulling up or trying to lately. He's eating toast and crackers and things so it makes it easier to do stuff in the kitchen. Pooter is so curious and into everything. Every time I turn my back he is crawling into brothers room. Meanwhile chunk is pushing and hitting/slapping little brother. It's aweful but hopefully a phase. Sending Chunk outside all day is helping with the not sleeping and being "crazy" in the evenings. He has so much energy. I think we will bundle up in the winter and play outside. It really helps.

what a week!

One kid is pooping in the potty, one has learned to crawl practically overnight!! Wow Eli got up on his knees and started scooting and today moved his knees independently. He's reaching for us too. I moved him up to the bathring today...Man i didn't know these milestones would affect me so. Im sorta sad cause it's my last baby. Having the older one I know how fast everything gets after this point. I told chunk to go poo poo in the potty and he could have something I forgot what and he comes back without a diaper. I just put it back on. Later I was in the restroom and saw a huge turd!! I was so excited...very cool...that he's doing it on his own.

on another front, chunk has finally poo poo'd. Talk about stubborn.. he gets chuckie cheese soon, For the clubfoot. Praise God for all he's done and given us for Eli's healing. I just have to keep praying that our insurance will pay for the shoes.

february update

WE have been super busy around here. DH and I celebrated 5 years this week. I can't believe we've been married that long..but in a way I do. The boys are doing well. I think Eli is cutting 4 teeth at once. It would make sense. He won't sleep through the night and just fusses all night long. Im up with him about 4 times a night. Im hoping we don't get the flu or the stomach bug that's going around. We are staying inside now..but i've been feeling really hot and sore throat last night. It may be too late. We are staying away from church and walmart...for awhile. Eli couldn't get a flu shot and I heard it's the wrong strain anyway. I took Logan to the Dentist which was a nightmare (they better not send a bill). They wanted him to stick his head in the 360 xray right away...then he freaked out (duh). So she looked at his front teeth and he has cavities on them...probably from when he was a little baby. I regret that I didn't take better care of him. So I have to schedule an appt with a pediadentist who will knock him out and fix everything /clean all at once. Fun fun. ON the Eli front he is sitting up and playing alot. He grabs anything Logan has including hair and ears its too cute.. He laughs when he grabs hair or noses and it makes me think the oneryness is not over by a long shot.

Chunk is 3...gulp...

and pooter is aka red, aka stringbean is almost 6 months old...it's going by way too fast. I am starting to focus on myself getting some weight lost, walking on the treadmill. I really need it. Here are some pictures of our life lately. I don't spend much time on the computer and chunk is sorta addicted so i have been saying that it's broken lately...i worry about his attention span sometimes. Please pray that we can conquer the potty..I bought vinyl pants yesterday and some more underwear. We are starting to wear them next week. The first picture is our house after the ice storm, Christmas pictures and on of chunk on his birthday where he wasn't fake smiling.
