blogger=wasted effort

I spent tons of time writing a post holiday entry last night uploading pictures from our weekend. I hate seeing it dissapear into nothingness. Not even a back page could save it. Oh well We had fun this weekend despite a cold rearing it's ugly head between chunk and I. He must have had it before me cause he was sniffling. If only we didn't make out I'm sure I wouldn't get sick but when he kisses you trust me you can't resist. Except he always tries to kiss me when he eats and usually has food all over his face. It's too funny. But all that kissing has led to a cold for me which really stinks since I can't take decongestant till I'm farther along. Fun Fun. It's shifted to a sore throat now and I have a nostril free now. I never have both isn't that weird? We had an awesome time at my parents on the Christmas eve eve and eve. Lots of bonding time with chunk and PaPa and Grandma. It was alittle sickening the love fest between Papa and chunk but considering all he's going through mom and I are okay with it now I think. He's the most patient grandpa I swear. He spent an hour letting chunk climb on the lawnmower up and down. He's in the repetitive play stage. I have no patience for it sometimes. Monday we treked to the In-Laws and had a rather crowded time with everyone. Lots of neices and nephews. Some family drama as well as one sister didn't show because she's mad at another sister (rolling my eyes). Mother in Law has adopted a stray cat and I totally was caught off guard. I took shifts in the van to regain some air. My eyes would start itching and get hard to stop sneezing and 5 minutes outside would do the trick. Luckily chunk isn't allergic and had a blast with his cousins. He had fun messing with Papa's television as well. As for number 2 everything is great. I have no morning sickness at all. It's alot better than with chunk. I was having some pretty intense cramping tonight as I was reading to chunk. I hate those it makes you start to worry something might happen.

Playing House

Luckily the hamper was empty when he did this little activity. House full of toys and he does this. It was too funny though cause chunk would go inside and then close the door and say "night night" or "bye see ya." Well for anyone living in outerspace or outside of the rumor mill I am expecting another chunk in August. We are so excited about the news.

christmas tree is up!

Well we had a very good weekend despite some stressors and some new developments. We made a flying trip to see the folks and to hug on my daddy alittle bit and let chunk make my mom jealous by totally adoring PaPa. He did start calling her "Mamla" I thought that was funny and he's still calling her that. It's even cuter cause her name is ---la, Im thinking he combined the words. We took chunk to sit on Santa's Lap. Let me just say they need to hire a santa over the age of 30 at least...good greif. I know he is an immortal character but please. He didn't even talk to the kids and say ho ho ho...Crappy Santa. Chunk barely held in his cry...but he seemed to hold up and get through the torture. More pictures are of chunk with his new pose (wearing our christmas stockings lol). If you say "show me your butt" he does that pose. Helping Daddy hang the ornaments and the star. Lastly leaving the super young santa's village, looking so pretty as only a mother can say.  Posted by Picasa

first snow!

Well technically it's not the first snow that has fallen in his life he was born in January after all. He kinda enjoyed it. I'm not too certain on anything. I think he had more trouble playing and wanted to go to the park even more than normal.  Posted by Picasa

our trip

We ended up going to DH's sister's wedding afterall. The ice and snow wasn't as bad as everyone was saying. By Saturday that is. We loaded up that morning and drove out there. Minus the whole getting lost thing it was a fun time. We were in the lead car, yet the in-laws had the map... We went 30 minutes the wrong way and our destination was 10 minutes from our wrong turn. We had my niece in the car with us so her mom was pretty antsy since she had to get ready for the wedding. We finally got there and booked it up to the wedding chapel. This included everyone thinking we are lost and at every inn and cottage saying "that's it" or "we passed it" "we went way too far" etc. All the while Im on the phone talking to them every five minutes. That's what getting lost will do it ruins your confidence in listening to others I guess. Needless to say there was champagne. That night We got no sleep at all as we found out chunk can hurdle himself out of the portable crib. we would be laying there then suddenly "pat pat pat pat" hi dadda! Juice! Hi Momma! (jumping on bed). Then he was sleeping away and we needed to eat breakfast with everyone. I turned on the t.v. turned on all the lights, nothing he wouldn't wake up. We had to start talking to him...I wish I could sleep through him the night before. Oh and he loves his cousin. When she would leave he would cry. When she would come back he would smile and say "da." Last night after we made it home he started crying for Da. He finally said her name sort of but he really loves her. She came outside from the restaraunt Sunday morning and he laid a big kiss on her and rubbed noses. It was really cute. Chunk also got to spend more time with his grandma and grandpa and his obsession with "pa pa" is doubled now. He doesn't say memaw or nanna...nothing. All he talks about is papa. We were in a store yesterday that had a cardboard cutout of clint eastwood and chunk kept saying "see papa" lol. Posted by Picasa
